ABOUT
Valeria LLaneza is an Argentinean-born performer currently residing in New York City. Fluent in English and Spanish. Her passion, inspiration and motivation took her to pursue a career in performing arts and drove her to obtain a BFA in Dramatic Arts and an Actor Teaching Degree from Universidad del Salvador in Capital Federal, Buenos Aires. Post graduation she also obtained a Musical Theatre Degree from AMDA NewYork (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy). After this amazing journey, her hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to her artistic career, she has been working as a leading performer in numerous productions held at some of the world’s most
renowned art venues and festivals in EEUU and Argentina. Some of her recent credits include "Sillon de dos cuerpos", "The Selfish Giant", "En el país del encierro, todo es mágico", "Bebén", "Aunt Malvina", "Crying is allowed", "A Tango-Dancing Cinderella", "Cabaret of Berlín", "Rapiña, four short stories of love and predation", "Barbie Live", among others.
She received The ATI Award as best actress for "No me arrepiento" and for "It’s a Woman Thing (The story of a friendship)". She strives to produce works with honesty, confidence and convey the emotions following the path of what her objective is: create magic on the stage with her own, unique and freedom world where anything is possible and credible. “If you can dream it, you can do it”.
